Whenever people say that cats are aloof or that cats are uncaring, we always argue with them. That's not true! Cats love their humans endlessly! They just have different ways of showing it. And while we wholeheartedly believe that, and we have seen and experienced an endless amount of proof of how much cats love their humans, we also know that sometimes, for some cats, it takes a little longer to open up. Some cats really do come off aloof, but that doesn't mean that they're ungrateful. It just means that they don't know how to express that gratitude in a way that you will understand. Yet.

Eventually, if you give a cat enough love and care, affection and respect, some treats and some space, even the most aloof cat will show you affection. Today's video is proof of that. It took seven years – seven long years – but it happened, and it's the cutest thing in the world.
